Welcome to the official website of Angel Romero, heralded throughout the world as the Spanish maestro of the guitar. For more than 40 years, Angel Romero has blazed a trail for classical guitar by appearing as soloist and recitalist in the major cultural centers around the globe. His distinctive interpretations of the classical guitar literature are beloved in live performance and in dozens of critically acclaimed recordings. As conductor, Angel Romero has led some of the finest orchestras and ensembles, from the Royal Philharmonic, Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Germany's NDR Symphony, the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Chicago Sinfonietta among many others.

On February 8, 2007, Maestro Angel Romero received this prestigious award from the Recording Academy, producers of the Grammy Awards, recognizing Angel and Los Romeros for their contributions to the world of music. The lavish ceremony was held in the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles and attended by hundreds of respected people in the music industry.
